This year we have seen huge impacts. Unprecedented headwinds, inflation, conflicts and economic displacement to mention just a few. 


Yet, if we take a step back, there are also immense opportunities emerging.  Advances in AI and shifts in consumer awareness and behaviour are reshaping the landscape in exciting ways. We sometimes lose sight of this.  

 

There are several accessible growth opportunities still available before the year ends:


1. To leverage AI more. 
2. To fully realise social commerce. 
3. To reflect and respond to consumers demanding conscious consumption in fashion.

The amazing thing about all of these is that the results are achieved faster than you think, and are available to everyone.   


AI. Apply the latest in AI to clothes sizing, reduce returns or leverage genAI to streamline your product listings and increase capacity.


Social commerce. Integrate and further utilise social, visual search and diversify your influencers, if not doing so already.


Re-commerce. Provide a genuine re-commerce offer for your customers if you have not already. They will appreciate you for it. 


These opportunities are not going away. They are not “if” but “when” opportunities. 


The challenge: when will we seize them?
